Anil Kapoor may be over 60-years-old but the actor even to this day can give his younger co-stars a run for their money. With his charming looks and fitness level at its peak, Anil Kapoor remains to be one of the most sought after stars in the film industry.

Recently at an event, the actor spoke at length about films, his career and rumoured remake of Mr India. Speaking about the kind of roles he has done in his career, Anil Kapoor revealed that early in his career he was advised by industry insiders to not take up movies in which the heroine had a "better or equal role".

Speaking to media, Anil said, "When I did films like Judaai and few others a lot of industry people would wonder and get shocked at the same time that 'why I am doing films in which the role of a heroine is better than mine or maybe equal?'." He also revealed that they faced a similar issue when they were casting for Sonam Kapoor's Khoobsurat. None of the leading male stars was ready to get onboard. Recently, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur teased fans on social media about a collaboration with Kapoor hinting it might be Mr India 2. But quashing those rumours Anil said, "There are some discussions. But it is not Mr India sequel."

On the work front, the star’s upcoming works are Pagalpanti and Malang.
