He shared photos of himself and his wife Sunita Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and Rani seeming to watch the movie together on a giant screen. He wrote a brief review of the movie and praised Rani's outstanding performance.
Anil Kapoor took to Twitter and wrote, “Watching #MrsChatterjeeVsNorway last night was a humbling experience...This is easily one of Rani’s finest performances, and that's saying something! The story itself is beautiful and poignant, but Rani’s performance has made it superlative.”
The seasoned actor posted three photos on his Instagram account. His wife Sunita was depicted in one of the images. Rani, Madhuri, and Anil might be seen matching in black. When they stood for the camera, the trio could be seen flashing their million-dollar smiles. Anil was seen congratulating Rani and the entire staff in the accompanying photo for their "excellent job."
Earlier, Rani reacted to her film's success. She said, "I feel extremely happy because as I told you that box office validation is always very important for an actor like me. So it feels good that people are going to the cinemas and they're still continuing to go. So that makes me really really happy because when a film has good word of mouth, you actually know that people are liking your film and recommending your film to their friends and their family. So yeah, it's absolutely amazing."
The director of Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway is Ashima Chibber. Together with Rani, it also features Jim Sarbh, Anirban Bhattacharya, and Neena Gupta. It was released on March 17. It is based on the real-life experiences of NRI couple Sagarika and Anurup Bhattacharya and centers on a mother's struggle against the entire nation as her children are removed from her under the pretext of poor parenting.
