Anil Kumble stepped down from the post of Indian cricket team coach

We all know that the Anil Kumble is the head coach of Indian cricket team yesterday he stepped down from the post. He did not travel with the Indian team from England to the West Indies for the limited-overs tour starting June 23 and decided to stay back in London to attend the International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting.

In June 2016 he was appointed as the coach of the Indian team for a one-year term by the  Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC). Under his guidance, India won Test series against West Indies, New Zealand, England, Bangladesh and Australia.

Kumble had a successful year-long stint with the Kohli-led team and his tenure will conclude with the ongoing Champions Trophy in England.
