Anjum Chopra, former captain of the Indian women's cricket team and an integral part of the commentary team in the IPL, is celebrating her 43rd birthday today. Anjum Chopra was born on 20 May 1977 in Delhi. On 12 February 1995, he played a one-day international for the first time against New Zealand in Christchurch, New Zealand. A few months later, that is, on 17–20 November 1995, she made her Test debut against England at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. She is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. She has played 12 Tests and 116 ODIs.

She has been a part of Air India Women's Cricket Team, India Red Women Team and Indian Women's Cricket Team. She played his last Test match against England in Taunton in August 2006 from 29 August to 1 September. She played the last one-day international against Australia on 16 March 2012 in Mumbai. In his long career, Anjum has also played T20 matches.

She played the first T20 match against Australia in Darby and the last T20 match against Australia in Visakhapatnam on 23 March 2012. Anjum has participated in a reality show: Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi 4. In 2005 and 2009, women's cricket won the World Cup, which also included Anjum. She has been awarded the Arjuna Award in the year 2006. Anjum was awarded the Padma Shri in 2014.
