It is every player's dream to win a medal for the country in international events. At the same time, after years of hard work, there is no chance to stand on the podium. But for Annie Jain, a native of Indore and educated in Delhi, winning a medal is like a child's play. Annie is 17 years old and won a total of four medals including three golds for India in the swimming event of South Asian Games held in Nepal. During this, he also set a national record. Kapish Dubey held a special conversation with Annie Jain, who won more than two dozen medals in national events at a young age.

- At the age when children start thinking about careers, you are winning international medals, how is this experience?

--feels good. But in addition to my hard work, my mother Sakshi and father Sameer have a lot of dedication and sacrifice. He always inspired me to move forward and choose the sport of my choice.

-How did Tiraki choose as a career?

- I did not love swimming in the beginning. I was a skating national level player. Went to learn swimming in the summer, I felt like, After this, swimming started to be taken seriously. I started participating in state competitions within a few months and in national competitions within a year.

- How many medals have been won in national events so far?

- I am a junior class player, but I also play in senior. Total five medals in seniors, while 23 medals in the junior category. Apart from this, dozens of medals have been won in School National, CBSE National and Invitation Tournaments, but the numbers are not remembered. I am winning medals in national events every year. I am the first female swimmer in the history of Madhya Pradesh to win an international medal.
