Another 102 Annapurna Canteens to launch for daily-wage earners

Due to lockdown many under privileged people suffer due to hunger. To solve this issue the State government has decided to increase the number of Annapurna Canteens offering hot and hygienic meals for Rs 5. Let us share that Presently there is 140 canteens in GHMC limits, the additional 102 new canteens will be set up which will become operational from May 14.

Here it is to be noted that the list of canteens was also shared by Municipal Administration and Urban Development principal secretary Arvind Kumar on Twitter. “#COVIDSecondWaveInIndia #Hyderabad In addition to the existing 140 Annapurna centres, @GHMCOnline has arranged an additional 102 Annapurna centres for providing ₹5 meal during lunch time, these centres will be fully operational from May 14 @KTRTRS,” tweeted the principal secretary.

However, GHMC, in association with Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Trust, operates these canteens and the meals are a boon especially for daily-wage earners.
