Bhavnagar police arrested AAP leader and question paper leak scam whistleblower Yuvraj Singh Jadeja late on Friday night after questioning him for several hours about the recent dummy candidate exam scam.

It is being told that AAP leader Jadeja is accused of extorting one crore rupees from the scam accused. Yuvraj Singh Jadeja was arrested at 11 p.m. on Friday night. An official of the Bhavnagar Local Crime Branch (LCB) has said that "the other five accused in the new case are yet to be arrested." Apart from Jadeja, a case was also registered against his two brothers-in-law and three others.

Let us tell you that the Special Operations Group (SOG), Bhavnagar, had earlier summoned Jadeja for questioning on April 19, but he had sought a two-day extension citing a "medical emergency". The Bhavnagar LCB had arrested four persons on April 14 for their alleged involvement in a racket where dummy candidates were being transported to appear for government recruitment exams and board exams in Bhavnagar district. According to the police, the accused had also transported dummy candidates for the junior clerk recruitment exam conducted by the state government last Sunday.
