With the rising number of COVID-19 positive cases in the country, the virus has infected a number of celebrities in the film industry in this months. Gitanjali Selvaraghavan, director and wife of filmmaker Selvaraghavan, tested positive for COVID-19 after being infected with the Omicron variant. The director of 'Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam' has shut herself up at home.

Sharing a picture of herself, Gitanjali yesterday evening posted, "Jumped on the Omicron band wagon. Tested positive this morning. Mild symptoms since last morning or so went into self isolation. In total isolation now!"

Updating on her health today, she posted, "Day 2: head still hurts, throat still hurts, nose is fine though! But new twist in plot.... Horrible back pain. Howzzat?" 

Interestingly, during the initial wave of COVID-19 in 2020, and throughout the lockdown at the time, I was frequently drinking Kabasoora kudineer, which is a traditional Siddha formula. Apart from that, Gitanjali has been drinking a glass of sorakkai juice with curry leaves and another glass of bitterguard and amla juice, both of which she claims may help with immunity, weight loss, skin care, and hair care.
