Recently many reports suggest that another North Korean freight train crossed a border bridge into the Chinese city of Dandong on Monday, after the return to Pyongyang of another train carrying daily essentials and emergency relief supplies.
The empty second train arrived at the Chinese border city earlier in the day, after the first train left at around 7 a.m. to return to Sinuiju in the north. On Sunday, the first train arrived in Dandong, marking the first rail operating in almost a year and a half since the North closed its borders to combat the Covid-19 outbreak.
The train's destination was not immediately known, but reports stated everyday needs, medical supplies, and other emergency relief items seemed to be on board, with at least 15 carriages on board.
