New Delhi: New revelations are coming to the fore in the police investigation in the Nikki Yadav murder case in the national capital Delhi. According to the recently revealed information, the criminal Sahil Gehlot was with the deceased Nikki Yadav on the night of 9 February. Both roamed the streets of Delhi for several hours. During this, the criminal killed her in a parking lot near Nigambodh Ghat.

After the murder of Nikki Yadav, Sahil deleted all the data including WhatsApp chats from her phone. Delhi Police Crime Branch is scanning the CCTV cameras installed at Uttam Nagar-Nizamuddin-Kashmiri Gate to gather more information in connection with the incident. Along with this, the police have also questioned some persons living near Nikki Yadav's rented house in Uttam Nagar. 

According to the police officers, in the investigation so far, it has come to know that Sahil had come late at night after his engagement with the intention of killing Nikki. Took her out of the house on the pretext of taking her for a walk. We were not believing the statements of the culprit. Right now footage of CCTV cameras related to the incident is being collected. Along with this, the crime scene will be recreated. Police are also extracting the call record details of the culprit. Apart from this, the family members of the culprit are also being interrogated.
