Dehradun: Another case has been registered against former Shia Waqf Board Chairman Waseem Rizvi alias Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi. This time, the police have registered a case on the complaint of a man from Dehradun. Police have registered a case under section 153A for causing hurt to the religious sentiments of religion, caste or sect and under section 295A, a person for making derogatory gestures against any religion and caste out of malicious intent.

The same Nagar Notwal Raakendra Kathait said that Nadeem Qureshi resident Dhamawala Kotwali Dehradun gave a complaint to SSP Dehradun stating that former chairman of Shia Waqf Board Uttar Pradesh Waseem Rizvi alias Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi had commented on Dharam Khas due to the release of his book at the Press Club at Devpura in Haridwar on November 12, 2021.

After which the complaint was forwarded to Haridwar Nagar Kotwali. Kotwal Raakendra Kathait said that a case has been registered under sections 153A and 295A.
