Mumbai: Amidst the escalating tussle between the Shiv Sena and the Rana couple, the BMC (Mumbai Municipal Corporation) on Monday pasted a notice outside Rana's flat in Khar. According to this notice, BMC will inspect the flat on May 4. There is talk of illegal construction in it. At the same time, sources close to the MP and MLA have termed this action as politics of revenge. He said that this action is being taken because of persistence in reciting Hanuman Chalisa. It should be noted that the Rana couple has been in jail for the last 11 days.

The same notice has been pasted under section 488 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act 1888. It has been said that illegal constructions have been done in the house of Rana couple, in connection with the investigation, Mumbai Municipal Corporation has put a notice at the door of the house.

MP Navneet Rana and her husband MLA Ravi Rana could not get bail from the court on Monday. In fact, the lower court has reserved the verdict on bail. On Monday, the court could not write down the complete order, due to which the decision could not be taken. Tuesday is Eid holiday, so now the verdict will be pronounced on 4th May. On the other hand, Rizwan Merchant, advocate of Amravati MP Navneet Rana, has claimed that his client is not getting proper treatment in jail. Rizwan Merchant has written a letter to the Superintendent of Byculla Jail. In this, he has claimed that Navneet Rana is suffering from spondylosis, she is not being provided with the facility of CT scan. He wrote that for a long time Navneet Rana was forced to sit on the floor and sleep. In such a situation, their pain has increased due to spondylosis.
