The impact of the second wave of covid began in the country, but the black and white fungus has created havoc. In Madhya Pradesh, the first case of green fungus has been detected in Indore. In fact, a 34-year-old man has been found with aspergillus fungus in his lungs and sinus at Aurobindo Hospital here. The man is now undergoing treatment in Mumbai. Doctors said the infection is much more dangerous than both black and white fungus.

This is the whole case: It is learnt that Vishal Sridhar, who lives on Manik Bagh Road in Indore, was infected with covid a few days ago. He went home after recovering, but was admitted back to the hospital due to post-covid symptoms. Between treatment, espergillus fungus has been found in his lungs and sinus, identified as green fungus. Doctors said Vishal had 90 percent lung infection after which he was sent to Mumbai by chartered plane. He is now being treated at Hinduja Hospital.

The patient's health has deteriorated continuously: According to doctors, when he came for a huge treatment about a month ago, his right lung is full of pus. The doctors tried hard to remove the pus, but did not succeed. The patient is showing different symptoms while treatment. At the same time, his fever did not come down to less than 103 degrees.

What is Espergillus Fungus?: Doctors said that espergillus fungus is commonly called yellow fungus and green fungus, sometimes also found as brown fungus. At present, doctors say this is the first case of green fungus which is under investigation. It infects fungus lungs very fast.
