However, according to the report, the NeoCov virus is not new. Its havoc was first detected in the countries of West Asia in 2012 and 2015. It is like SARS-CoV-2, which causes corona infection in humans. In South Africa, the NeoCoV virus has just been seen in bats and it has only been seen in animals.
According to a new study published in the biorexive website, NeoCoV and its affiliates PDF-2180-CoV can infect humans. According to researchers at Wuhan University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, this new corona variant requires just one mutation to infect human cells. Research also says that more people could die due to this new virus.
