Dehradun: After the tragic bus accident in Uttarkashi, another major accident has taken place. It is being said that a vehicle fell into a ditch at Danda Minar in Champawat. Three persons were killed in the accident while six others were injured. After the accident, the police conducted a rescue operation and rescued the injured persons from the ditch.

According to the news received, there were 9 people on board in Boloro. The accident took place while going towards Reetha Sahib from Nanakmatta to Binwal village. There was a scream at the spot after the accident. People reported the incident to the police. Police reached the spot and launched a rescue operation. Three people were killed in the accident. Six were injured. The injured persons have been referred to Reetha Sahib Hospital for treatment. It is being said that the accident took place around 4.30 pm. However, the cause of the accident is not yet known.  

State CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed grief after the accident. The Chief Minister announced financial assistance of 2 lakh rupees to the next of kin of the deceased and 50 thousand rupees to the injured persons. At the same time, the Chief Minister directed the officers to make proper arrangements for the treatment of the injured persons. Earlier, a bus had fallen into a ditch near Damta on Yamunotri Highway in Uttarakashi. 26 people were killed in the accident. People from Madhya Pradesh were on board the bus.
