The investigation of paddy scam in Haryana was not even completed, that another paddy scam has come to light. About 19 thousand metric tonnes of paddy has been found to be low in physical verification of five districts. Now the government is preparing to recover money from these rice mills. Among the rice mills which have been verified, Kurukshetra has found the highest stock.

About 12 thousand metric tons of stock has been found low in rice mills of Kurukshetra. Whereas in the past scam, the stock was found low in the entire state. According to the information, the Food and Supplies Department had carried out stock verification in 6 cities, including Palwal, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Kaithal district. The department has verified only those mills. The mills in which complaints of irregularities were being received.

This fact has been revealed after the test. Earlier, 1207 rice mills of Haryana had a patch of 42589 MT of paddy. 300 investigation teams of food supply department had caught this scam in the physical verification of mills. 1304 rice mills were verified by the investigating teams. Out of which 12025 mills got 42589 MT paddy less. This cost the government 90 crore rupees. The department has got the verification done. Where the scam has been found The amount will be recovered from those rice mills with interest. The rule is the same for everyone. No negligence will be tolerated in this case.
