Meerut: Corona has engulfed every region of the country. Meanwhile, in the city of Meerut, UP, due to COVID-19, another death occurred on Wednesday. The deceased was a resident of Thaparnagar. He was 52 years old. It was told that he was admitted to Subharti Hospital from 8 August. District surveillance officer Dr. Vishwas Chaudhary has confirmed this.

He has died of COVID-19 infection. On Tuesday, 40 new patients of COVID-19 including two medical nurse staff were found in Meerut. Both nurses were doing duty in the Corona ward. This was confirmed by Dr. Dheeraj Balyan, Chief Superintendent of Medical.

However, due to reports coming in the night, they were not included in the list by the Health Department on Tuesday. These will be included in Wednesday's list. Apart from these, the sub-inspector, health care worker, anganwadi, sadhu, five prisoners and engineers of the temporary jail are also posted in the CBI. 2359 samples were tested on Tuesday. Now the total number of infected people has been 2572. So far 2117 people have been discharged. 33 people are in home isolation. 20 infected patients of home isolation have become healthy, their number has also crossed 50. The figure of corona in the state is continuously increasing.
