Patna: The Bihar board has remained surrounded by accusations of continuous education scams and irregularities and now another news of scam has come up in news. Recently, the forgery in the Bihar Board is revealed.
The latest case is from the Bihar Sanskrit Education Board where Hundreds of students have been caught whose writing style has been found the same on the answer sheet. The Bihar Board has confirmed this news in its investigation. In the report after the investigation, the Bihar Board has cancelled the results of 1148 such students involved in it. The accused candidates were enrolled in the mid examination in 2016.
According to the information received after finding of the same writing style in the answer sheets of hundreds of test takers the Bihar Education Board has taken this major step.The Board called 1191 test takers to check the handwriting and qualifications between April to September. It included the test takers who got high marks i.e 518. Only 70 candidates were present in front of the board and the qualification of only 35 candidates was found to be correct.
The Board recalled the rest of the students, But they did not come. After the examination results were announced, 167 students applied for scrutiny in which the number of five students were changed. Bihar Education Board Chairman PN Mishra said that the results of the candidates which are cancelled by the board will be given chance to appear in the examination which is going to get conduct in 2017. The exam is likely to be held in the first week of November.
