Mumbai: Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) has nabbed a suspected terrorist named Rizwan Ibrahim Momin. Under the information received, he is a teacher and runs four coaching institutes in Mumbai. He has been arrested last Sunday (September 19, 2021). According to the information received, Rizwan has also been arrested for his involvement in the terror module revealed by Delhi police. He is said to have been arrested under UAPA.

Zakir Hussain Sheikh had named him in the interrogation as part of the information received in the case. Zakir Hussain Sheikh was nabbed by the ATS on September 18. His strings are linked to one of the six terrorists arrested by Delhi Police, Jan Mohammad. Zakir Hussain Sheikh was also reportedly in touch with Pakistani handlers. Both Rizwan and Zakir were produced before a special court last Monday from where they were remanded in judicial custody till October 4.

In the entire case, an official said, "After the arrest of Jan Mohammad, Sheikh was afraid of raiding his house. He then stayed at Rizwan's house in Mumbra for two days.'' The ATS has also said, "Sheikh used Rizwan's phone to call his handlers in Pakistan. After his arrest, Rizwan allegedly broke his phone into three pieces and threw it into a drain near the house.''
