Kaimur: A truck driver lost his life in a horrific road accident on Friday night in Bihar's Kaimur district. The incident took place at NH-2 in Kudra police station area of the district, where a speeding truck broke into the Guru Nanak Hotel on the roadside, breaking the gate last night. In this accident, the truck driver died on the spot. However, there was no major accident in the hotel.
The driver of the truck loaded with cream was cleaning the glass of his vehicle near the Guru Nanak Hotel at around 8 pm. During this time, the high speed truck coming from Mohania, collided with the standing truck and make it enter the hotel by pushing. The driver, who was cleaning the glass, fell down after being pushed into the truck. The truck has entered the hotel, trampling the driver.
It is also being said that the driver lost his life in this accident, while the hotel was completely damaged. Local people said that the sudden arrival of the high speed truck did not give the deceased driver a chance to recover and he died. The hotel was empty, otherwise a big accident could have happened. According to sources, NHI officials said the incident occurred due to the speed of the truck driver falling asleep. As soon as the information about the incident reached the spot, the police took possession of the dead driver's body and sent it for postmortem. The truck has been extracted from inside the hotel with the help of Crane and Hydra.
