NEW DELHI:  Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is to probe the scams in the construction of rooms in schools. Delhi's Kejriwal government is accused of manipulating Rs 2,000 crore in the name of education. Delhi's Arvind Kejriwal government is accused of building a room worth Rs 5 lakh for Rs 25 lakh.

In many schools, the amount was paid without a room. In this case, the ACB has also extended the complaint to the Vigilance Department and sought permission for investigation. Notably, Manoj Tiwari, president of the Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit, had made serious allegations against Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) President Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.

Manoj Tiwari, citing an RTI, had accused the Delhi government of embezzled Rs 2000 crore in the name of education. Manoj Tiwari had said that an additional Rs 2,000 crore had been allocated for the construction of rooms in schools, which could have been built for just Rs 892 crore. The 34 contractors who were tendered include their relatives.
