Considered as the best psychological-thriller in Kollywood, ‘Ratsasan’ received overwhelming reviews from both critics & viewers. It’s already evident that the film is being remade into Telugu as ‘Rakshasudu’. The First Look of 'Rakshasudu' is out.  Starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran, it is the remake of a Tamil blockbuster.

Starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles, the first look poster of the film has been released on the occasion of Ugadi. Featuring both the actors along with a girl, the weapon of the psycho killer can also be seen in the picture. Almost 60% of the shoot has been wrapped up and the makers are planning for an April release taking EID into consideration. Directed by Ramesh Varma, the thriller is being produced by Satyanarayana Koneru.  Havish Lakshman Koneru is also associated with it.

The film has music by Ghibran. It will be an action entertainer, a genre the young hero loves to the core as it offers him market in Hindi (through satellite and dubbing rights).  Mobie is bankrolled by Koneru Satyanarayana with actor Havish as the presenter. ‘Ratsasan’ showcases how a dedicated cop sets out to solve a puzzling case involving mysterious murders all over the city.
