Move over, OTT and television: social media is currently our most important source of entertainment. Thousands of people have recreated some of the well-known dialogues that have appeared on screen thanks to content producers who produce videos in all genres.

Anupama, starring Rupali Ganguly, is without a doubt the most popular programme currently airing on television. Even a line of dialogue from one of the episodes went viral. Rupali appropriately delivers the monologue "Main Ghumu, Firu, Nachu, Gao, Hasu, Khelu, Bahar Jao, Akeli Jao, Kisi Aur Ke saath jao, jab jao, jaise bhi jao, Aapko kya?" in the midst of an intense scene.

Anupama appears in a video that the Delhi Police posted on COVID to promote the use of masks.

The post quickly gained popularity after it was posted on Twitter. The department shared popular Anupama videos to spread the word about the COVID procedure.

Bollywood was not exempt from the effects of this trend, as thousands of creators have already recreated and lip-synced this video.

Recently, the Mumbai Police used a clip from the programme featuring Rupali in their campaign to encourage people to wear helmets. The creators of Pan India were lip-syncing to some of Rupali's well-known lines from the show earlier on a few other occasions, so this is not the first time her dialogue from Anupama has gone viral.

Since the show's popularity peaked in 2021 and reached unprecedented heights, meme pages have frequently used Anupama's dialogues or references to convey significant messages.

This time, additional actresses have jumped on board and adopted Anupama's style.

On Anupama's dialogue in the trending video, seasoned actress Vidya Balan, Janhvi Kapoor, Urfi Javed, Mahhi Vij, Charu Asopa, Simran Budharup, and many others have performed.

Rupali says, "I enjoy making videos during my break at work. It helps me decompress after shooting emotionally taxing scenes, and it also gives me an opportunity to hang out with my coworkers." I was genuinely excited and thoroughly enjoyed watching my friends' recreations of the Anupama video when they shared videos of other professional actors doing the same. I still clearly remember how impressed I was after reading the script. It is such a strong conversation that it truly empowers women. Our dialogues have previously gone viral, proving that we have an appeal to people of all ages. Additionally, when other actors commend your work and share it on social media, I believe the industry as a whole has grown closer; now, it is more about community than competition.
