In an earlier interview, Anurag Kashyap and Tapsee Pannu requested the audience to Boycott them and their film. They also make fun of Boycott trends and now Boycott Dobaraa is Trending. In a new interview, Anurag Kashyap opens about the Boycott Trends, “I am used to it. It affects those whose films do over Rs. 100 crore. My films have not even gone beyond Rs. 32 crores. For me, it is nothing new. I have been boycotted since the time Twitter started. Ask me questions that affect me."

Tapsee further added, "I feel out of place when even biggies are being boycotted. Who wouldn't want to be in the league of Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar? Please boycott us too. Don't leave us." 

Trolls on Boycott Dobaara

One user wrote, “If anyone thought that #BoycottBollywood is just a social media trend on Twitter then you are so wrong. No amount of trends can make Boycott successful if it doesn't have ground support. How can you win against this #BoycottLalSinghChaddha #BoycottDobaara #ArjunKapoor."

Another wrote, "They’re faking to be cool with the #BoycottBollywood but dying a million deaths internally. They were feeling left out & wanted to trend. Lo trend karte hai #BoycottDobaara . They are Rabid Hindu Haters. Anurag Kashyap is the next level. Hypocrite Taapsee Pannu needs no introduction,".  Other wrote, "Don't worry Taapsee, we will.”

Speaking about, Dobaara, it is the Hindi adaptation of the Spanish film Mirage which featured Alvaro Morte, popularly known as The Professor from the Netflix crime drama show Money Heist. It is the second time that Anurag Kashyap is directing Taapsee Pannu after their 2018 romantic drama Manmarziyaan. It is a mystery drama in which Taapsee's character tries to save the life of a young boy after communicating with him through a TV set. It also stars Pavail Gulati and Rahul Bhat.
