NEW DELHI: Union minister Anurag Thakur today, January 28, asked Bharatiya Janata Party  members to take a renewed pledge to elimanie the “corrupt and anarchist Arvind Kejriwal government” from Delhi and the country in the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections.

The minister was speaking at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre on day two of the BJP’s state executive meeting.

Further attacking the Kejriwal-led Delhi govt, Thakur said, "I campaigned in many areas of Delhi during the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections and saw that the Kejriwal government's magic has reduced on people. This was reflected in the poll results where AAP got a very negligible majority. In our new resolution, the development work being done by the government led by PM Narendra Modi in Delhi is to be taken among the public and victory will be ours in 2024 and in 2025 elections." 

The party is expected to pass a resolution that is likely to indict the AAP Delhi government for its alleged failures in administration prior to its conclusion.

Thakur also exhorted party members to convey to citizens that the AAP government was not allowing free ration being provided by the Centre for over 60 lakh poor migrant workers in Delhi to reach them.
