Anweshaa Dattagupta sings the title track of "Sona Roder Gaan"

Anweshaa Dattagupta, a popular singer, has donated her voice to the title music of the new TV show 'Sona Roder Gaan.' She just recorded the song in a metropolitan studio. Debjit Roy composed the soulful tune, while Souvik Chakraborty wrote the words.

Anweshaa made her presence known at the early age of 13 with her lovely voice. She finished second in the reality show "Voice of India, Chhote Ustaad" and went on to appear in a number of other reality series. She sang the song 'Tha Karke' from the film 'Golmaal Returns', which was composed by Pritam. The song included Neeraj Shridhar, Akriti Kakkar, Earl D'Souza, and Indie as co-singers, and it was a huge hit. Apart from Hindi and Bengali songs, Anweshaa has also written Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam film songs. She has also released singles and albums.

Meanwhile, even before the first promo aired, 'Sona Roder Gaan,' which will premiere next year, has been creating waves. The male protagonist will be played by popular Bengali actor Rishi Kaushik, who will be partnered opposite actress Payel De. In the upcoming programme, Shoumo Banerjee, Sohini Sengupta, Bhaskar Banerjee, and others will play major parts. The story is written by Leena Gangopadhyay.
