AP CM Naidu wants 100% literacy rate by 2019

Amravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], January 20 (NT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has called on the officials to pull off 100 percent literacy rate by 2019.

Talking in the collectors' meeting, the Chief Minister asked the collectors to work together in creation of the state as a knowledge hub.

He further asked them to make all the arrangements so that every child, achieving the school going age, must be made to reach to school.

 CM Naidu also ordered to begin 4000 cloud-based virtual classrooms with 60 schools as a faction.

Setting March 15 as the cut-off date to begin the virtual classes, he recommended searching out the content prepared by best of the teachers.

The Chief Minister asked to catch up with the best practices for virtual classrooms in any part of the world.

He asked every department to hire IOT (internet of things) coordinators to deal with high standards in technology.

For the moment, AP CM also asked the collectors to spotlight on building IT towers in all districts suggesting to develop Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Amaravati as IT hubs.
