Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed profound sorrow and grief at his cabinet colleague Mekapati Goutham Reddy's sudden demise, according to a press release.

Goutham Reddy, whom the Chief Minister described as a young potential leader whom he had known since his youth, expressed sadness over the unfortunate tragedy, stating that words are inadequate to explain the death of his young cabinet colleague. "With a sorrowful heart, he extended his profound condolences to the bereaved family members," the announcement read.

Mekapati Goutham Reddy, Minister of Information Technology and Industries in Andhra Pradesh, died on Monday morning after suffering a heart attack and being rushed to the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad.

According to the hospital's statement, "Mr. Gautam Reddy, 50/M, was rushed to Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, this morning. He'd collapsed unexpectedly at home. He arrived in our emergency room at 7:45 a.m., unresponsive, not breathing, and in cardiac arrest."

 "In our emergency department, he received urgent CPR and advanced cardiac life support. He was treated by an emergency medical team and specialists, including cardiologists and critical care physicians. CPR was done for over 90 minutes. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to resuscitate him."

Goutham Reddy, an Andhra Pradesh minister, died of a heart attack in Hyderabad.
