The Andhra Pradesh government has filed a petition challenging the decision of SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar. On Saturday, the House motion petition was filed in the High Court. The High Court will hear the House Motion Petition on Monday. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has ruled that the local bodies election process should be resumed only after consultation with the state government and the village panchayat elections have been unilaterally scheduled on Friday night to be held in four phases.
