Parents don't give Rs. 30,000 for a dog, 16-year-old son takes big step

Visakhapatnam: Amidst the corona crisis, many more amazing cases continue to come to light from the country. The tragic incident took place on Monday in the coastal city of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. Shanmukh Vamsi, a 16-year-old boy, hanged himself to death from a ceiling fan in Venkateswara Metta area of the district.

In fact, the boy wanted to buy a dog for Rs. 30,000 and bring it home, but the parents did not allow it. Shanmukh Vamsi had seen the dog on the online sales portal. Shanmukh Vamsi's mother, did not want the dog to come home. Vamsi was told to stay for some time and then buy a dog. However, Shanmukh Vamsi was saddened by the family members saying so.

There was no one at home when the mother went to the market on Monday to buy essential household items then Shanmukh Vamsi hanged himself for not being able to bring the dog into the house. When the mother came home and saw it and fainted. Shanmukh Vamsi was rushed to the hospital but it was too late. The doctors declared Shanmukh dead. Police of MR Petta police station have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
