Akshay, in Aparajita's opinion, has insulted her self-respect. Amma comforts her by urging her to allow Akshay to at least act in the best interests of the kids as their father and do something good. Till he obtains Aparajita's signature, Akshay asks Mohini to be patient. Due to Akshay's wealth, Aparajita feels guilty for owing him a favor.
