Lucknow: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won 33 out of 36 seats in the Legislative Council elections. At the same time, the main opposition party of the state, Samajwadi Party (SP) has not been able to open the account. Aparna Yadav, the younger daughter-in-law of former CM Mulayam Singh, has expressed happiness over the massive victory of the BJP, saying that the people are with strong nationalism, development and good governance.
Aparna Yadav, who left the SP and joined the BJP just before the assembly elections in UP, made two tweets on her official Twitter handle on the results of the Legislative Council elections. In the first tweet, he has congratulated the elected members. Aparna has written that, 'Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the newly elected members of the Upper House of Uttar Pradesh.'
In another tweet, Aparna Yadav has written that, 'BJP's massive victory in the Legislative Council elections of Uttar Pradesh has again made it clear that the people of the state under the able guidance of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi and under the leadership of respected CM Yogi Adityanath ji. Strong nationalism is with development and good governance.
