Apollo Tyres, India's largest tyre maker, is moving its entire infrastructure to Amazon Web Services (AWS). To change the customer experience while enhancing process efficiency and enabling process automation, Apollo Tyres wants to transform all mission-critical corporate apps to AWS.

Commenting on the development, Hizmy Hassen, Chief Digital Officer, Apollo Tyres said, "We are using AWS capabilities, like IoT and machine learning services, to connect our factories and make them smarter. This fosters collaboration between our IT and business teams to make the production process more efficient while delivering higher quality products at lower cost."

Apollo Tyres' data lake on AWS centralises and scales the company's structured and unstructured data. This data lake serves as the foundation for an integrated data platform, allowing firm developers from across the world to cooperate on cloud-native application development and improve enterprise-wide decision-making.

Apollo Tyres has also established an automated tyre inspection programme using Amazon Rekognition, a machine learning solution for image and video analysis. The programme allows factory supervisors to react when production issues arise, ensuring that customers receive high-quality tyres.
