The American company Apple has started manufacturing its flagship phone, the iPhone 11 in India. This is going to be the first time when Apple is ready to make one of its flagship phones in India. Apple will manufacture iPhone 11 at Foxconn plant in Chennai. Simultaneously, Apple is also planning to make its iPhone SE 2020 at the Wistron Plant near Bangalore.

This is not the first time that Apple is making iPhone in India. Even before that Apple used to assemble its phones, iPhone SE and iPhone 6s in India, which was discontinued in 2019. The iPhone XR and iPhone 7 are assembled in the country, but none of them is a flagship phone. On Friday, Minister of Commerce and Industry (Commerce and Industry), Piyush Goyal had given information about this by tweeting. He wrote in his tweet, "A significant boost to Make in India! Apple has started manufacturing the iPhone 11 in India, bringing a Top-Of-The-Line model for the first time in the country."

With the formation of iPhone 11 in India, the price of this phone can also be reduced because now Apple can save import tax by up to 22%, although we cannot give any guarantee about it. It can definitely be said that this step will also reduce Apple's dependence on China.
