USA: Apple intends to release a foldable iPad in 2024, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. He also claims that the company will stop production of new iPads by the end of 2023.
According to Kuo, there won't be any new iPad announcements for nine to twelve months as Apple prepares to release the iPad mini and the foldable iPad in early 2019.
Apple is expected to experience an annual decline in tablet shipments of 10% to 15%. The lack of new products can be blamed for such difficult times.

But with the release of a new iPad mini and its first foldable device in 2024, both of which are anticipated to increase tablet shipments and bolster Apple's iPad lineup, the company should make up for the losses.
A carbon fiber kickstand will be included with the foldable iPad. Kuo claims that Apple's upcoming foldable iPad will have a built-in kickstand.
According to the analyst, this stand will be made of carbon fiber, which will make it lighter and stronger. Kuo also revealed that the main winner will be Suzhou-based company Anji Technology, which will provide the carbon fiber kickstand needed for the tablet.

Unlike OEMs like Samsung and Oppo, Apple is yet to do a test run in the foldable market. For a few years now, several foldable iPhone rumors have been doing the rounds online, but no real information has surfaced. Apple may decide to make a foldable iPad first before using what it learns to make a smaller foldable iPhone.
The analyst and publisher's predictions on the foldable iPad are in line with Kuo's comments. Apple is developing a foldable display that could be as large as 20 inches, according to a previous claim by Ross Young, CEO and analyst at Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC).
