1. iPhone WhatsApp Business App: After releasing on Android, the company has made the Business App available to the iPhone consumer this year. It has been introduced in 7 countries, including India. Along with this, the catalog feature has also been made available. This new feature is designed to showcase their products for small businesses.

2. WhatsApp Group Privacy Settings: After several months of testing, the company had rolled out the group privacy settings globally. With this feature, you will get control over who can add you to a group and who does not. If you are preventing someone from adding themselves to the group, then that person will be able to send you an invoice on a personal message. You will have 3 days to expose this invoice. If you do not receive an invoice during this time, it will expire.

3. WhatsApp Biometric Authentication: It has been made available for Android and iPhone consumers. After testing several rounds, this feature was made live for the consumer. Consumers of both platforms will be able to unlock the app with fingerprints. If you have enabled this feature of WhatsApp on Android, then WhatsApp itself will be unlocked after a certain time. Apart from this, Face ID has also been issued for the iPhone consumer.

4. Consecutive Voice WhatsApp Messages: Under this feature, voice messages coming to the consumer have received auto-play update. That is, you will be able to hear two or more messages back to back simultaneously. It was tested for a long time before it was made available to Android consumers. It is also available for the iOS platform. At the same time, this feature has also been released for WhatsApp Web.

5. WhatsApp Status: A feature that shares WhatsApp status as Facebook strategy has also been rolled out this year. It has been made available for Android and iPhone consumers. You can use this feature through the Share to Facebook Story button below the WhatsApp status.
