Salman Khan is going to commence the shooting of Dabangg 3. Salman's brother and producer, Arbaaz Khan, revealed the month when the third instalment of Dabangg will go on floors. "

Arbaaz was quoted as saying to Mumbai Mirror that Dabangg 3 will go on the floors in April,. He further said that, At this point, all that I can say that the film features Salman Khan in lead and will be directed by Prabhudeva.

It was in September last year when Salman and Sonakshi had made an official announcement about Dabangg 3 which is to helmed by Prabhudheva.

Earlier, there was buzz that the film would be inspired by the real-life story of a cop based in Noida but the reports were quashed by Arbaaz. he said, "I have been reading a lot about 'Dabangg 3' on the social media, some say it is a remake, some say it is inspired by a real-life incident, some say it is set in Noida. At present, I would like to maintain some secrecy around it.”

On the work front, currently, Salman Khan is busy filming for Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat that has an ensemble star cast which includes Nora Fatehi, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover among others. Bharat is slated to release on Eid 2019.
