Jaipur: In the Churu district of Rajasthan, a sensational case of a Dalit girl being trapped in a love trap and then kidnapped and gang-raped along with companions has come to light. In this case, the police have registered a named report against three people including Arbaaz and his associates. However, at present all the accused are out of the grip of Rajasthan Police.
Police have registered a case against Arbaaz Dhobi, his friend Shahnawaz Khatri and Farooq Khatri under relevant sections in connection with the gangrape of a 22-year-old Dalit girl resident of Agrasen Nagar in Churu city. Police have also imposed ST-SC Act against the accused. All the accused are said to be absconding and the police are engaged in their search. According to Churu Mahila police station in-charge Sukhram Chotiya, the main accused Arbaaz had trapped the victim in his love trap by promising marriage. On September 19, 2022, Arbaaz called the girl to meet him and threatening to kill kidnapped her and took her in his car.
From here the accused Arbaaz first brought the girl to Jhunjhunu, where he raped her on the promise of marriage. After this, asking to meet his family members, he took the girl to Sikar by sitting on a bus. In Sikar, the accused Arbaaz called his friends Shahnawaz and Farooq and took the girl to a hotel. There all three gang-raped the girl. The next day, on 20 September 2022, the girl somehow came out of the clutches of the accused and reached her home. There the victim told the whole thing to her mother. After this, the victim reached the police station along with the relatives and gave a complaint against the accused.
On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against the three accused under sections 376(2)(n), 376D, 366 of the IPC and 3(2)(v) of the SC-ST Act. After getting the victim's medical done, the police are searching for the accused.
