A well-known name in the entertainment industry is Archana Puran Singh. She is regarded as one of the most talented comedians and has proven her acting chops in a number of television shows and motion pictures. The actress recently turned 60, but based on her chic appearance and captivating personality, it's hard to tell. Over the years, she has worked on many shows, including Shrimaan Shrimati, Jaane Bhi Do Paro, Junoon, and others. But it was her role as a judge on The Kapil Sharma Show, an entertainment show that made her a household name. She feels pigeonholed for comedic roles now that she has worked in the comedy industry for so long.

Archana discussed the dearth of roles with indianexpress.com while promoting India's Laughter Champion. She shared that the stereotype is only strengthening with each passing year, adding, "That chhaap (image) is so solid. Additionally, a lot of people think that after Ms. Briganza, what they should offer me. Almost 25 years have passed since the debut of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Furthermore, the character is still pursuing me. People also think that I only work well in comedic roles. I feel cheated and deprived as an actor, and I now yearn for good roles.

She continued by saying that being stereotyped in a role is a good thing in Hollywood. She believes it to be an actor's passing. She added that Neena Gupta had previously made a job-seeking post on social media and that she also desired to request work from producers and directors.

The actor continued by saying she wanted to "act" and do meaningful roles in movies. She expressed her desire to perform as an artist. Only one aspect of her craft has been seen by the public. She has a serious side and is capable of much more than just comedy, according to The Kapil Sharma Show fame. She continued by saying that although it hasn't been explored yet, she is confident that it will do so eventually.

When discussing her affiliation with The Kapil Sharma Show and the "chair," she claimed that she is not hired for humor. She said that in order to respond, one needs to understand comedy.
