In the current episode, Armaan recalls how he and Digvijay went to the outhouse and noticed that the door was locked from the inside. He then decided to peek in to look for evidence against Rudra and noticed that the wig and moustache were out, at which point he realised that Prem is in fact Rudra. So he made the decision to oust him. He questions Rudra about how he could do this knowing Preesha's condition and how he could kidnap his wife. Rudra is told by Pihu that he is not at fault and is asked to explain.
She is asked by Armaan if she is still standing by Rudra. Preesha claims that the truth is in front of her, so there is no need for an explanation. She will soon realize that Rudra isn't a bad person and that Armaan is ruining her life by giving her medications that are wiping her memory, according to Rudra. Preesha claims that Armaan cares deeply for her and wouldn't act in such a way. He also says that he is giving her medication for her mental health. Rudra is pushed to prove himself by Armaan.
When they arrive in Armaan's room, Rudra asks him to open his hidden safe. When Armaan opens it, Rudra is horrified to see cash instead of prescription drugs. Armaan recalls how, after taking the medications out, he placed cash there. Rudra claims he placed the actual medications in the pots because he anticipated Armaan would act in this manner. He leads them to the pots but is unable to locate the medications. Armaan remembers finding the pills in the pot and deciding to take them so Rudra wouldn't look for them. Preesha yells at Rudra as he reveals that the medications were present.
