Army and administration joins hand to make 250-bed Corona hospital in record time

Srinagar: The Indian Army has prepared a covid-19 Hospital at the JKLI headquarters of the Army in collaboration with the Kashmir Health Administration to deal with the Corona epidemic. This Level 1 and Level 2 hospital of 250 beds has been jointly built by Army and Civil Administration as a coronaHealthcare facility for the people of Kashmir at Old Air Field Military Station in Srinagar.

The coronaHealthcare facility is jointly built by Operation Chinar Corps of the Army and Healthy Administration of Jammu and Kashmir to fight the corona epidemic under Operation Namaste. Healthcare facility has been prepared in record time, which will have all facilities to deal with this epidemic along with three-storey building.

The scheme of this facility has been prepared on the basis of protocols and guidelines issued by the Government of India to deal with the coronavirus epidemic. The facility has a 14-bed ICU and a 32-bed High Dependency Unit, which has a separate zone to house 80 women patients.
