New Delhi: Army Chief General Bipin Rawat is on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir today. This is the first visit of the Army Chief after the withdrawal of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. On August 5, the Centre had canceled the section 370, which was in force in the state. Earlier, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was on a visit to Ladakh on Thursday. He inaugurated the 26th Kisan-Jawan-Science Fair in Leh. This was the first visit of the Defence Minister after the removal of the section. In the meantime, he said, Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and Pakistan has no right to it.

He said that Now whenever we talk to Pakistan it will be on PoK. No country is supporting Pakistan on the Kashmir issue, says the Defence Minister. US Defence Secretary Mark Esper told me that removing most of the provisions of Section 370 is an internal matter of India. Pakistan is engaged in internationalizing the Kashmir issue. But he did not achieve the desired success.
