Army chief Narwane says, 'China and Pakistan are threat to the country'

New Delhi: Army Day is celebrated in the country on January 15 every year. On Tuesday, Army chief Manoj Mukund Narwane addressed the annual press conference. In the meantime, he attacked China and Pakistan and said that the two countries remain a powerful threat to the country at this moment.

The army chief further said that terrorism is being promoted continuously from the Pakistan side, but we have zero tolerance for terrorism. He further said that we will take appropriate action against it when it comes to the right moment. This is a clear message. "We faced these challenges and moved forward, "he said. He said that we have monitored a high level of monitoring not only in Ladakh but also on the entire LAC. The eighth round of core commander level talks have been held, now the 9th round of talks are awaited. The army chief said that we hope to find a solution for dialogue.

Army chief Narwane said that the most major challenge in the last year was the coronavirus and the northern borders. The chief of the Army staff informed that we have increased vigilance on the northern borders, we expect restoration of peace, but if there is any incident, it is fully prepared.
