Tamil Nadu: The police from Madurai's district have seized around 200 people who were protesting against the decision of Supreme Court for banning the bull taming sport Jallikattu.

"Around 200 people have been taken into preventive custody. They had assembled unlawfully, despite several warnings by the police. They will be released soon." the Superintendent of Police in Madurai said as per the sources news.

The Supreme Court has banned the Jallikattu which is practiced in state on occasion of Pongal Festival.
