Aarti said, “I was not in touch with Siddharth for almost two years, we did not even talk. The last time we spoke was on February 15, 2019. I was blamed for coming between Sidharth and Shehnaaz and their friendship. I didn't want to come in the middle of their friendship. I am not someone who wants to be the cause of stress in anyone's life."

She says, 'I regret that I did not keep in touch with him. Although I thought of calling him on a couple of occasions, I didn't because I thought he was happy and I thought let him live his life. I was just happy to see her happy. But no one expected something like this to happen. This is unfortunate and devastating. This incident has taught me to follow my heart. Don't think the reaction of the other person, do your own mind. At least you will hear his voice and it gives me the pleasure that I tried.

She shares, “After Siddharth passed away I got calls to inform that I am being trolled for posting a picture of me in a saree. Do you even know the state of mind? I could not sleep at nights. No one knew what phase I was going through. What happened had me stunned. I have realized that life is unpredictable and one must live in that moment."
