In an interview to the media, Aarti Singh has told that she can never be a part of a show like Swayamvar on National TV. She clearly said, "If I had received an offer from Swayamvar, I would have refused to do that show. I never do that show." When Aarti was asked the reason for this refusal, she said, "I have to marry, do not hold a fair."

The actress further said, "Family is seen here first, then the boy is seen. Till today, my family has known what the family is. It is like this. So if I had a Swayamvar offer, I would never have agreed to do it." Aarti further revealed that she is a love marriage person. She wants to fall in love but she has never been lucky in love. She had a relationship but no one could reach the marriage. So sometimes she feels that love marriage is not made for her. Aarti said, "I never had greed in my mind about 10 lakhs because a lot of confidence came in me while on the show. I did not want to lose this confidence for 10 lakh rupees."
