Indian Air Force Day is being observed today. On this day, the Indian Air Force was established in 1932. The Air Force is celebrating the 89th Raising Day this year. Many people would not know that before independence, the Air Force was known as the Royal Indian Air Force. The first Indian air force squad was formed on April 1, 1933.
