Nutan, who has given about 70 movies to the Hindi movie industry, was born on June 4, 1936, in the midst of a well-known film family in Mumbai. Nutan's mother Shobhna Samarth was a brilliant actress herself and her father Kumar Sen Samarth was a movie director. Shobhana and Kumar's daughter was very beautiful. Since she used to listen to movies while sleeping at home, she decided to make a career in acting. In 1950, she stepped into the world of acting with the movie 'Humari Beti'. Nutan was only 14 years old at the time. After which Nutan has never looked back and has started being counted among the top heroines of her time.
When Nutan was at the peak of her career, she got married to Rajneesh Behl. Rajneesh had nothing to do with the movie world. He was a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy. However, the marriage did not have much impact on her acting career. She didn't stop working. Nutan was not only beautiful but also bold. In the 50s-60s, when there was a simple era, she created a ruckus by wearing a swimsuit in one of her movies 'Dilli Ka Thug'.
Nutan was suffering from breast cancer. On February 21, 1991, she finally said goodbye to the world. Her son Mohnish Bahl works in the movie and granddaughter Pranutan also ventured into Bollywood. Mohnish Behl has always been sharing photos of his mother Nutan and clips of films on social media. Every year on his mother's birthday, he keeps remembering his mother by sharing a picture.
