New Delhi: Minority Kashmiri Pandits migrated from Kashmir 33 years ago. Meanwhile, how many governments have come and gone, how many seasons have come and gone, and generations have changed, but the fight for justice and the 'Ghar Wapsi' of Kashmiri Pandits continues.

The story of the exodus is not hidden from anyone. Talking about what happened in 1989-1990, three decades have passed, but nothing has changed for this victim community. However, due to what is changing, the existence, culture, customs, language, temples, and other religious places of this community are gradually on the verge of extinction.

The month of January brings hope for the New Year all over the world, but for Kashmiri Pandits, this month is full of sorrow, pain, and despair. January 19 has become a symbol of the tragedy that took place in Kashmir in 1990. Jihadi Islamic forces wreaked such havoc on Kashmiri Pandits that they had only three options – convert, die or run away. Due to this fear, four lakh Kashmiri Pandits left everything overnight and fled.

Terrorists had brutally killed hundreds of minority Kashmiri Pandits. Many women were gang-raped and murdered. In those days, many people were kidnapped and beaten every day. There were continuous attacks on the houses of Pandits, temples were constantly ransacked. There was no one in the Valley to help the Kashmiri Pandits at that time, neither the police nor the administration, no politicians, and no human rights people. Even today, these people are looking at the government with hopeful eyes, so that they can get justice.

Although there is no one to listen to their suffering even today, the Supreme Court, which is called the 'greatest temple of justice', has refused to hear the matter many times. Every time the court argued that it is very old due to being a case of 1990, so it cannot be heard. But when the same Supreme Court heard the 1984 Sikh genocide, Kashmiri Hindus had some hope that perhaps the court would now listen to their pain. However, Kashmiri Hindus were returned by giving them the same 'old suit' reply.
