New Delhi: Sripati Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam, a well-known musician of Indian cinema, a voice-rich and amazing music director, was born on this day. Born on June 4, 1946, Balasubrahmanyam was an Indian playback singer, actor, music director, singer and film producer. For many years, SP Balasubrahmanyam was considered for Salman Khan's voice when Salman Khan appeared in new films in the 90s.

Whether it was the songs of 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' or the songs of 'Saajan,' or the songs of 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun,' it was Balasubrahmanyam who gave his voice to Salman Khan. The title song of Shah Rukh Khan's 2013 film 'Chennai Express' was also voiced by SP Balasubrahmanyam. Last year, this unmatched singer bid farewell to the world. Balasubrahmanyam has been making voices of Anil Kapoor, Girish Karnar, Mohanlal to Rajinikanth in Tamil and Telugu. SP Balasubrahmanyam is also a buzz about the record of recording 21 Kannada songs in a day, claiming that Balasubrahmanyam also holds the record of singing 4000 songs so far.
